Fast forward to 2023, and we have an incredible testament to the endurance of the 2012 Lexus GX460 with a jaw-dropping 157,000 miles on the odometer. However, it’s not all smooth sailing; this remarkable journey hasn’t been without its hurdles, as a bad cylinder recently put this Lexus to the test.
One of the cylinders in the engine developed a problem, causing noticeable performance issues. The engine began to misfire, leading to a drop in power and a less-than-smooth driving experience. Understandably concerned, the owner promptly took the SUV to a qualified mechanic to diagnose the issue. As with any vehicle, time and mileage can take their toll, leading to occasional mechanical issues.
